Is it a wine or is it a beer? Hand harvested Marlborough Sauv Blanc grapes, naturally macerated, unpressed, in whole bunches under a blanket of carbon dioxide, then lightly crushed, added to a specially brewed wort and allowed to ferment for a week before being gently pressed and aged in oak wine barrels. Exactly 51% wort and 49% Sauvignon Blanc grapes. Technically it’s beer... but only just. Picked, brewed and fermented especially for the Terroir Project.
