Sour beers are crafted using wild yeasts and bacteria to increase the level of acidity in beers. The acidity delivers sour and tarty flavours characteristic to this style in contrast to the bitter flavours of pale ales. When brilliantly brewed with fruits, sour ales can offer a wide variety of new and exciting flavours.
